“The Devas Club provides a youth centre for the purpose of engaging and educating young people up to the age of 25…. Devas is committed to making a positive impact on young people’s lives and produces a wide variety of activities to support physical, mental and spiritual growth in it’s members….”
It was this mission statement that prompted I Art This to specially invite the young members of the club to join in the project. And what a pleasure it was to have them on board!
Rochelle, the first youth member to arrive, and the last to leave, excitedly told us about the re-development programme which would include many new and exciting facilities for the youth members. More members, Kyann, Attiya and Seshie came over to grab a brush and we have to thank the Devas Club to bring to I Art This it’s youngest participant too!!
The Devas Club members were with us right till the very end when Rochelle and Seshe decided to make their mark and paint some killer ants in the soil – a 100% Devas initiative! THANK YOU Devas Club for fostering such creative and wonderful young people who are a pleasure to have around.
